Bonjour French Food 2024

November 13, 2024 - The French Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines, in collaboration with Interfel and the LTB Philippines Chefs Association, hosted an unforgettable Bonjour French Food event that highlighted the rich flavors and culinary traditions of France, with a special emphasis on French apples. Held at the Grand Hyatt Loft Kitchen in Bonifacio Global City, The Fort, Taguig. 

The afternoon began with an engaging hands-on culinary workshop where LTB Philippines and Philippines Young Chefs Club Members rolled up their sleeves and got creative in the kitchen. Led by the talented chefs Chef Charles Soussin (Interfel), Chef Mark Hagan (Grand Hyatt Manila), and Chef Carlo Miguel (LTB Philippines Chefs Association), attendees learned to prepare the following dishes featuring French apples, exploring their versatility in both savory and sweet recipes:

  • Stuff Apple Chicken, Prawn and Apple Coulis, and Glazed Vegetables
  • Apple Roll, Apple Creamy Custard, and French Toast

 

The workshop was not only educational but also a delightful experience that allowed participants to experiment with new techniques and flavors.

 

The excitement continued as the event transitioned into a vibrant cocktail gathering in the evening. Guests enjoyed a beautifully curated selection of appetizers and cocktails, each inspired by French culinary traditions.
