Annual Christmas Party 2022 at Ikomai

Season's Greetings from LTB Philippines Chefs Association!

December 8, 2022-- The LTB Philippines Chefs Association held its Annual Christmas Party at Ikomai and Tochi in Salcedo, Makati. The event was hosted by LTB President Chef Carlo Miguel, and LTB Philippines Board of Directors, Chefs J Gamboa, James Antolin, Sito Senn, and J.A. Ventura. The momentous event was in collaboration with the Pastry Alliance of the Philippines, featuring Team Philippines representatives, Anthony Segubiense, Vergel Iral, and Angelica Hong for the Coupe Du Monde De La Patisserie in Lyons, France in 2023. 

The evening began with a cocktail reception, where guests were treated to various hors d'oeuvres and wine. The atmosphere was warm and festive, with laughter and music in the air, and the aroma of food wafting from the kitchen.

As the night progressed, the guests were invited to sit down and enjoy a sumptuous feast prepared by the talented chefs with the assistance of the fantastic team of Ikomai. Everything was cooked to perfection from the appetizers to the main courses, and the guests were left in awe of the culinary expertise on display.

Before the evening came to a close, LTB President Chef Carlo Miguel extended his gratitude to all and announces the collection total from the previous fundraising dinner for the benefit of the community of Kalipay Negrense Foundation in Bacolod and the resumption of the LTB Philippines Culinary Scholarship Program in the third quarter of 2023. Chef Carlo, on behalf of the association, also pledged P200,000 to the Pastry Alliance of the Phillippines in support of Team Philippines for one of the biggest international pastry competitions in the world, the Coupe Du Monde De La Patisserie in January 2023. Team Philippines earned their spot at the Coupe Du Monde De La Patisserie when they competed at the Asia Pastry Cup in Singapore last October 2022. 

Of course, no Christmas party is complete without the exchanging of gifts and giveaways from our friends from Lee Kum Kee. 
The guests left with full stomachs, happy hearts, and memories of this wonderful celebration of the culinary arts and the generosity of the LTB Philippines community.
