Please join us on June 14, 2018 for a tour of 2 farms and native lunch in Laguna! 
 
We will begin with a tour of Real Fresh Dairy Farms, Inc., makers of Holly’s 100% Premium Farm Fresh Dairy and Carmen's Best Ice Cream. After which,  we will proceed to Tara Farms of Chef Oliver John Gomez for a tour of their integrated rice, vegetable and native pig farm and enjoy a native lechon lunch-boodle fight!  Please find details and schedule below.  Kindly confirm your attendance ASAP as space is limited to 15 PAX.

Real Fresh Dairy Farms, Inc.
RFDFI was formally organized in 2008 by Danilo Katigbak-Dimayuga, Ralph Casiño, Felipe Bince,  Eduardo Arroyo Jr., Rey David, Atty. Sofronio Larcia and former Senator Ramon Magsaysay Jr. We are a group of seasoned businessmen and retired executives who are united by a common goal – to create economic opportunities in the countryside. Instead of people migrating to the big city in hopes of finding jobs and a better life for their families, we wanted to bring the jobs to them. Essentially, it is a collective undertaking envisioned to be a model of private enterprise with a purpose.
Our business formula for a successful agricultural enterprise is a balanced mix of good management, competent people, sustainable practices and modern technology.  Ours is an agribusiness that not only provides a regular source of income for people, but also encourages them to go into dairy farming in the future.
We have a modest farm operation that supports the livelihood of more than 60 families, most of whom are residents of Laguna and nearby provinces in the Southern Tagalog region.
 
Location
Our 27-hectare dairy farm is located in the verdant fields of Bgy. Masaya in Bay, Laguna where it is home to roughly 240 Holstein-Sahiwal cattle cross from New Zealand.

From our cows, and with the help of our hardworking cowhands and farmers, we produce roughly 18,000 liters of milk in a week.  Holly’s 100% Premium Farm Fresh Milk (available in whole or low-fat) was our first ‘baby’.  It was developed and formulated with the help of experts from the Dairy Training and Research Institute of the University of the Philippines-Los Baños (DTRI-UPLB).
Over the course of ten years, our premium milk product evolved into other nutritious dairy items like chocolate milk, café latte & low-fat yoghurt. We also make various cheeses like quesong puti and Gouda-style cheese. Interestingly, the award-winning Carmen’s Best Ice Cream, a brainchild of Mr. Magsaysay’s son, Paco, uses only fresh cream and milk sourced from RFDFI.
 
Dairy Products
All Holly’s dairy products are transported on refrigerated vans to ensure farm-fresh quality and freshness.
As a general rule, recommended storage temperature is below 4°C to prolong the shelf life of our dairy products.  Refrigerate after opening.
