Paella Gigante Goes to Bacolod
On November 30, 2024, LTB Philippines cooked the biggest paella in the Philippines (11 feet in diameter-pan for 1000 portions) for the benefit of the Kalipay Negrense Foundation with over 300 kg of olive oil, vegetables, chorizo, chicken, prawns, squid, mussels, rice, and 250 liters of stock! This event took place at Yanson Beach House in Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Spanish Ambassador Miguel Utray Delgado praised the organizers for choosing Negros as the first venue for this event in the Visayas and hinted at making it an annual tradition.
